Nice essay

This book offers a nice review of human's development of text, from the time of Papyrus to the current time. Each section is short and can be read in a few minutes and so in chunks. The writing is very accessible but offers surprising facts (if you are a non-expert in this area) and nice comments. For those interested in the digital humanities, the book offers why the area is interesting and important.
