About the Author
Michael E. Brumbach is the retired (after 28 years of service) associate dean of the Industrial and Engineering Technologies Division at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He holds an associate degree in electronics technology. In addition to this book, Mr. Brumbach has authored ELECTRONIC VARIABLE SPEED DRIVES and has co-authored INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE.

I never read this particular addition

In 1945 I attended a public technical school in Toronto,Ontario,Canada. The earlier additions of this book were the basis of our four year course at that school. The book is a self teacher and can really teach and inprove the knowledge of anyone involved in the industrial electrical world. I became a chief electrical engineer for a major company through the school of hard knocks.This book always had a place on my desk. Each time I went to construction sites and someone would ask about certain technical details of the electrical industry I would always end the conversation with a recomendation to purchace this book. I am sure sorry to understand that the author is no longer with us ,but can understand this as I am 69 years old. Just in case this bit of history would get lost here is where the book started. Naydon worked for esthe ford motor company with another engineer called Gillman and both their names appeared on early edditions of the book. It was used as a training book for electricians who joined the Ford Motor Company. The book coveres a wide range of subjects which every electrician should know if he wants to get ahead. Sure hope this helps electricians and industrial engineers who might consider the purchace of this book

Decent book

The class I have is a decent course. So far it has been review for everyone that took Basic Electricity at college, I tested out of that course with my Militray Background in electrial diagnostic and repairs.
The book seems well written for beginners, and I guess this is a beginner's course..

easy, funny and silly.

I just love this little silly story. Bought it when it was first out and time and time again, I come back to it and read it again. Particularly after some dark or difficult books or after epically bad ones. Usually I wouldn't give it 5 stars, but I have to be honest: obviously I love it, I cleanse my brain with it over and over again and well... It's a fiver to me. Bite me. After all this time, I felt I owed Mr. Fessenden the review of such a pleasurable story. And that is that :-)

This is a fun, quick read but I have read a similar story that was better. Str8te Boys is very similar and the added word count allows for better story development. This short story made me giggle but it isn't worth reading more than once.

A realistic portrayal of how guys--even bi-curious ones--behave

As another reviewer said, this book is a lot like "Str8te Boys," which was written by a woman. However, "We're Both Straight, Right?" was written by a man and I think the portrayal of the friendship between the two college roommates was more realistic. Larry and Zach have been friends forever. They know each other better than anyone else. They tolerate each other's bad habits and behaviors. And they genuinely trust and care about each other. That's why their journey of sexual discovery and ultimately love feels "right" in terms of how guys do treat each other. Even when they're professing love, they tease and call each other names and act like two "dudes" would act together. Some female writers of M/M fiction still like to make one of the men more classically dominant while the other comes across as having more feminine sensibilities. The author here had the guys just act like guys, and I liked it.

One thing I especially liked was that Larry just didn't care or worry about his attraction to Zach. He'd always been socially awkward, so he'd developed a pretty thick skin concerning how people viewed him. He simply discovered that Zach was awesome and attractive, and he enjoyed enteracting with him sexually. It was Zach who struggled with this new aspect of their relationship. Zach had all the angst.

Sweet short story worth reading.

About the Author

Dr. Jens-Dominik Mueller is a senior lecturer in the School of Engineering and Materials Science at Queen Mary, University of London, UK. He graduated with a Dipl.-Ing in mechanical engineering in 1989 from the Technical University of Munich, obtained a VKI Diploma in aeronautics from the Von Karman Institute in Brussels in 1990, and an MSc and PhD in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1996. He held research and academic positions at CERFACS, Toulouse, Oxford University and Queen's University Belfast. He is the author of more than 40 publications and has organized numerous international conferences.

Tess Stimson frequently contributes to newspapers and women's magazines. Born in England, she graduated from Oxford before working as a television news producer. entertaining relationship drama

Pediatrician Ella Stuart knows her thoughtful husband Jackson loves her, but also believes her lover William Ashfield loves her too. William turns to Ella when either his disturbed wife Beth or his rebel without a cause teenage daughter, Cate send him over the edge with nonsense. Ella and William are happy with their arrangement.

Everything changes abruptly when Ella's husband drops dead making her single and available. William knows his spouse needs him, but thinks when is it time for him to consider his needs. He also believes his daughter Cate would be in trouble by his leaving them for his beloved Ella. Soon he must choose knowing someone he cares about will be hurt.

This is an entertaining relationship drama starring a fully developed relatively small ensemble cast. The story line rotates perspective between the four prime players as Jackson's death forces his widow and her married lover to make decisions that impact on his wife and daughter. Although the story line seems overly stretched and doubtful especially the late Cate factor as the reader after a while will hum Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind? and You Didn't Have to be So Nice (Lovin' Spoonful). ONE GOOD AFFAIR is overall an enjoyable read.

Despite a name change the book is a great read.

As I read the details of the synopsis of the book I realised that I had read it under a different name. Having said that the book is good, very good. I churned through the pages enjoying the pace and entertainment value. The author is also a very good one and I have to say that I am looking forward to her next book. Do yourself a favour and give this a chance you will not regret it.

Hugo Solis is an assistant professor in the physics department at the University of Costa Rica. In the same institution, he collaborates with CITIC and CICIMA. His current research interests include computational cosmology, complexity, and the influence of hydrogen on material properties. He has wide experience in languages, including C/C++ and Python for scientific programming and visualization. He is a member of the Free Software Foundation and has contributed code to some free software projects. He has also been a technical reviewer for Mastering Object-oriented Python, Kivy: Interactive Applications in Python, and Learning Object-Oriented Programming by Packt Publishing. Currently, he is in charge of the IFT, a Costa Rican scientific nonprofit organization for the multidisciplinary practice of physics (http://iftucr.org).

This book covers Kivy for Python programmation language. Kivy helps you build graphical interfaces that run on all PC platforms and also on android and IOS. http://kivy.org/
The cookbook format is quite convenient because it gives several recipes from extremely basic to more advanced ones. From launching a "hello world" app to packaging your app for distribution.
So it's a good purchase and it was worth reading it.
